Team Leader (m/f/d) Public Relations

It manages all company’s activities worldwide from standard setting through services for its partners, marketing, certification management to integrity and serves as legal entity to hold the international GLOBALG.A.P. and GGN (consumer label for GLOBALG.A.P. certified farms) copyrights.

We are immediately looking for a Team Leader (m/f/d) Public Relations in full-time (39 h/week). Our Public Relations Team is responsible for the professional interaction with our public stakeholders including media relations in the B2B and B2C area. They act pro-actively and responsively as the voice and face of our company, hereby reinforcing and growing our reputation towards our core values.

Your responsibilities

Technical tasks:

  • Set up public relations plan and monitor progress of corresponding KPIs based on identified company strategic priorities and agreed budget
  • Supervise the execution of the PR plan and of all activities (e. g. press conferences, media, press releases)
  • Provide input and suggestions to improve the PR plan
  • Align PR with marketing activities as well as priorities

Leadership tasks:

  • Plan and manage your budget
  • Present reports to the management
  • Plan new positions, incl. staff selection and onboarding
  • Execute feedback talks with team members
  • Act as a mediator when necessary (e. g. solving dissents)
  • Actively interact with other team leaders to assure operative exchange on business relevant activities
  • Follow the guidelines for team leaders and the Best Leadership Practice, live and incorporate our core values and be a role model to others

Your profile

  • Degree in the field of communication, media, journalism or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years’ professional experience in PR or marketing
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in managing employees
  • Proficient in German and English (C1 level)
  • PR and storytelling writing skills
  • High motivation to empower and develop staff along with a desire to actively impart knowledge
  • Result-oriented, proactive, and committed way of working combined with strong entrepreneurial and strategic thinking
  • Following a high level of integrity in every taken action
