Government Relations and Standardization Manager for Interoperability and Data Quality (m/w/x) Munich

You will be part of the Interoperability and Data Quality team and will actively contribute to Carl Zeiss Meditec’s digital strategy and especially to the success of the ZEISS Health Ecosystem. Externally, you will be an expert of the policy and regulatory environment of interoperability and data quality in medicine, especially in medical imaging interoperability. You influence the technical and political environment contributing to making interoperability in medicine a reality.
Your role:
- Understand the competitive landscape and regulatory and standardization environment and engage directly with key political, regulatory, and public stakeholders on interoperability and data quality topics in medicine, at the national and international levels.
- Devise, coordinate, and support implementing Carl Zeiss Meditec’s strategy with respect to existing and emerging standards and regulations in the area of health interoperability and data quality.
- Recognize, monitor, and communicate internally the interplay of regulatory initiatives with standardization activities in the related areas.
- Participate in the work of relevant standardization groups and industry associations, which includes working on technical documents, developing and contributing to strategic positions and advocating for Carl Zeiss Meditec’s interests.
- Educate internal stakeholders about external developments and support them in making informed business decisions with respect to interoperability and data quality.
Your profile:
- University degree in a technical, medical, economic or comparable field
- Several years of experience in working with governmental stakeholders, standardization bodies, industry associations or similar stakeholders, preferably in the health industry.
- Knowledge of interoperability and data quality standards in medicine is advantageous
- You are a team player with leadership skills and an analytical and goal-oriented approach
- Willingness to travel
- Very good communication skills as well as presentation skills
- English is required, German is desired
