We are looking for a Public Affairs Manager, Renewable Polymers and Chemicals, Germany to join our Public Affairs team. The primary location for the position is Düsseldorf in Germany, but also Brussels in Belgium is a possibility.

Your part in Neste journey

In this position, you will be responsible for representing Neste's views on renewable polymers and chemicals to the German and European institutions. You will devise and implement advocacy strategies and build alliances with a focus on Germany to advance the up-take of recycled and renewable plastics and chemicals through legislation. You will work closely with Neste's business teams, R&D and Sustainability as well as external allies to enable success of renewable and circular solutions of Neste.

Keys to success in this role

Experience in plastics, waste management or chemicals business will be valuable. Understanding of political and regulatory systems and experience in working with regulatory or public affairs at national or/and European level is a plus. Knowledge of European waste and chemical legislation is an asset. While English is the corporate working language, proficiency in European languages will be valued, especially German. Success in this job will require international travel.
