Your Tasks

• As a member of our global communications team, you will steer external PR activities and internal communications in Germany and Austria and support communication activities in Continental Europe
• You will work with our partners to project the Freshfields vision and to raise the profile of the firm and its key individu-als in relevant audiences
• You will monitor and regularly report the results of PR activities and adjust targets and approach as required
• You are responsible for managing outside agency support

Your Profile

• Degree qualified and at least five years of professional experience in public relations, public affairs or journalism
• Out-going personality, capable of identifying opportunities to raise the profile of the firm in the public at large and with specialist audiences
• Experience in managing content development for thought leadership campaigns
• Strong project management skills and ability to deliver to tight deadlines
• English and German at least on business fluent level, excellent writing skills in both languages; French would be an asset
• Reliable network among journalists, social media influencers and other relevant professionals
