The Compliance function at Leica is taking care of risk areas like bribery & corruption, fraud, conflict of interests and money laundering & terrorism financing.
Senior Compliance Manager, EMEA (d/f/m)
The Senior Compliance Manager EMEA will be the primary compliance advisor for all Leica business divisions in the EMEA region. The successful candidate will work closely with the EMEA operations and commercial functions, participating in management and team meetings, providing compliance support for daily business operations - including manufacturing, sales, marketing, and clinical activities and strategic initiatives. The Senior Compliance Manager will perform a wide variety of hands-on Compliance work, business advisory as well as Compliance program development. The holder of the position reports directly to the Global Compliance Director.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:
- Several years of Compliance experience in the relevant risk areas within the life science/medical device industry.
- Business minded, risk conscious. A positive, energetic, self-motivated personality, able to explain complex compliance points to the business; able to take business managers’ concerns and demands into account in how best to develop and execute on compliance strategies.
- Fluency in English and preferably fluency in other language(s) spoken in the EMEA region.
- Willingness to travel (~30%) and to visit sites within the region on a regular base.
