Your challenge

As our Senior Manager responsible for People Engagement and Change Communications within the Corporate Communications team, you will oversee all internal communications channels at Software AG, ensuring rigorous management of communication projects, special programs, campaigns and initiatives. You'll lead, develop, and execute a cohesive internal communications strategy to support the Company’s business priorities. As a strategic business partner, you’ll work closely with internal teams to promote our culture, transformation and business operations.

Your responsibilities

Build a long-term strategic internal communications framework and execute a state-of-the art strategy that includes how to measure success.
You lead and play an active role in Software AG’s transformation program that includes M&A and post-merger integration activities.
You are a key player in our newsroom which operates on a consequent topics-based and 360-degree comms approach to leverage our communication activities via all channels internally and externally.
You are responsible for overseeing our central communications platform and keeping it state-of-the-art, providing guidance in using innovative communication technologies.

You see yourself as a strategist*, advisor* and consultant* for different internal stakeholders on content, messaging and presentations.
You will develop a tactical plan on communicating relevant information across the company through traditional and creative formats.

Your profile

Degree in communications, journalism, media studies (or equivalent)
Minimum of 8+ years of experience as a communications manager, preferably in the IT or tech sector or on a tech/ IT account in a PR agency
Ability to work under pressure and during high-priority projects
You have experience driving and supporting employees in relation to M&A and post-merger integration activities and change communications.
You are an excellent communicator with a passion for storytelling with extensive experience in drafting communication pieces for corporate communications in a 360-degree comms approach.
You have strong interpersonal skills in order to collaborate with internal teams, senior leadership as well as external partners
Native level English, business level German, strong professional writing skills and verbal and written communication skills (German and English)
