At Evotec’s headquarters in Hamburg, Germany, the Global Legal & Compliance team is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated

Compliance Manager – Legal (f/m/d)
Full-time and permanent

In this role you will be an integral member of the Evotec Legal & Compliance team in Hamburg and report to the Head of Global Compliance & Legal Director.

Your key responsibilities

Actively support the global Compliance team in Hamburg as well as the local Legal & Compliance departments in Evotec’s international locations with the further development and organization of the Compliance Management System
Actively take responsibility for the creation and ongoing adaption of all Compliance Management System related documentations
Support and advice the operational departments with regards to documentation related to the Compliance Management System
Perform compliance risk assessments and review processes while considering the identified legal requirements
Drive efforts to mitigate compliance risks through development, review and implementation of compliance policies and procedures as well as performance of compliance controls
Monitor and evaluate legal and regulatory requirements
Support any kind of Compliance activities (e.g., internal and external reporting obligations, design and organization of trainings, communication plans etc.)

Your ideal qualifications

Fully qualified lawyer or university degree in economics with strong understanding of compliance processes and legal and regulatory requirements
Practical working experience with Compliance Management Systems (e.g., ISO 37301) and with the creation and implementation of compliance processes, controls, and procedures
Working experience in the Pharma/Biotech sector is a plus
Project management skills with the ability to influence at all levels
Creative mindset to find solutions which fit Evotec’s requirements
Clear and open communication style to interact effectively across functional, geographic, and cultural boundaries internally and externally
Self-starter who is resourceful and able to work effectively both independently as well as with teams
Well-developed analytical and critical thinking skills; high attention to detail
Fluency in written and spoken English and German
