The role

As a Manager for Public Affairs you will be responsible for building and advancing HelloFresh’s global public affairs efforts. As part of your responsibilities you will deliver a best-in-class Public Affairs programme for the newly established Public Affairs function, including monitoring, assessing risks and opportunities and interacting with senior stakeholders across all markets. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and have an immediate impact on HelloFresh’s reputation amongst them.

What you’ll do

• Build and drive HelloFresh’s global public affairs strategy in the EU, Germany and beyond.
• Define business related objectives and metrics and help create and advance market strategies in line with stakeholders expectations
• Develop an early detection system for potential risks and opportunities, including further development of monitoring tools, data-based analyses and definition of key stakeholders
• Develop a strategic positioning and engagement plan
• Conceptualize studies and reports to drive the debate around HelloFresh
• Closely collaborate with senior stakeholders across the business and markets
• Engage with key political and wider public stakeholders to establish a trustful dialogue

What you’ll bring

• You have at least 2 years of relevant experience and have a strong understanding of the German and EU political landscape (additional countries are a plus).
• You have strong analytical capabilities and can communicate complex ideas efficiently, both verbally and in writing, in English and German (additional languages are a plus).
• You have a strong business acumen and interest in and knowledge of the e-commerce and food industry
• You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are experienced in working with senior stakeholders from across the business
