To strengthen our international team, we are now looking for an exceptional and passionate Diversity & Inclusion Specialist to join our People & Organisational Development (POD) team at RWE Supply & Trading GmbH (RWEST). In this newly created role you will be the key driver of our Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) strategy and will be guiding senior HR and business leadership alike. You will be the global D&I subject matter expert to continue to shape our inclusive and diverse culture at RWEST. You will work on a variety of projects to drive our D&I strategy and also support key global D&I initiatives across the Group. Being a dynamic, organised self-starter, you will partner and build trust across all levels to drive greater connectivity. Furthermore, you will establish and maintain information-sharing platforms for our global HR colleagues and other internal partners. In this role you will report into the Head of POD.
- Coordinating the identification, preparation, implementation and monitoring of RWEST-specific D&I initiatives and measures to meet internal as well as external obligations
- Fostering D&I activities focusing on the dimensions Gender & Equality of Opportunities, age, Country of Origin, Disability & Inclusion and Sexual Orientation & Gender Identity for all our locations globally
- Preparing, facilitating and following-up on D&I trainings and workshops with employees as well as the leadership team to further raise visibility and awareness of D&I initiatives and to foster an even more inclusive culture
- Performing regular reporting on D&I metrics/benchmarks to ensure the effectiveness of RWEST D&I initiatives and measures
- Strengthening the cooperation and alignment with RWE-wide global employee networks
- Representing D&I @ RWEST in RWE-wide initiatives as well as external networks
- Identifying external trends and recognising best practices that can be applied within RWEST
- Being known as point of contact for D&I @ RWEST and supporting managers as well as employees on varying D&I related requests on an ad-hoc basis
Your powerful skills
- Professional and profound experience in HR or a similar function with focus on D&I
- Affinity and enthusiasm towards the topic of D&I
- High degree of empathy and experience in dealing with diverse and contrary opinions from different stakeholders
- Proven project and change management experience
- Ability to work independently in global and virtual teams
- Data interpretation; strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint skills
- Confident communicator with excellent networking skills
- Self-motivated, flexible, resilient and able to work independently with a hands-on mentality
- International, cross-functional and intercultural experience
- Training design and delivery, presentation and facilitation skills
- Language skills: Fluent in English (mandatory), fluent in German would be a plus
Advantageous, but not a must
- Experience of working in a trading or similar commercial environment
