Your team

You will report directly into the senior management team in the Directorate General Human Resources. Our Directorate General has over 100 professionals providing HR services to over 3,800 ECB employees. We enable our colleagues to excel, every day.

In your role as the Diversity and Inclusion Officer, you will catalyse and coordinate collaborative work across the organisation to promote a culture of inclusion and a working environment where all colleagues feel respected and valued.

You will work with the Director General, the HR management team and other HR staff, as well as with other key stakeholders in the institution, to deliver tangible solutions that inspire our colleagues.

You will engage with leaders and other colleagues and motivate them to continue to place diversity and inclusion at the forefront of the ECB’s agenda. You will guide and oversee work on the diversity and inclusion portfolio and identify opportunities to further increase awareness and expertise. You will incorporate researched diversity and inclusion practices into the ECB’s daily business. As the centre of expertise, you will design and implement state of the art, concrete concepts in which the ECB can further embrace diversity and inclusion.

Working modalities

We would be happy to discuss a part-time arrangement for this role.

Further information

The contract offered will be fixed-term, the appointment being for five years as of the exact starting date of the selected person.

Temporary appointments may be extended or made permanent subject to organisational needs and budgetary constraints. This may result in a staff member with a non-convertible fixed-term contract being offered a convertible contract in accordance with the ECB Conditions of Employment.
