(Junior) Manager Compliance & Process Excellence (m/f/d) – limited until 31.05.2024

The (Junior) Manager Compliance & Process Excellence (m/f/d) supports the Compliance Coordinator of the board area COO in advising and guiding operational and business units in establishing, improving and updating internal control systems, processes and SOPs with regards to compliance and process optimization.

Your assignments

Compliance:

Support implementation and further enhancement of the compliance communication, compliance program and compliance strategy
Implement and improve compliance relevant methods, processes, documentation and supporting compliance-tools
Review, monitor and support the roll-out of compliance policies and SOPs
Implementation, training, and support of the Business Partner Due Diligence process
Support the Compliance Case Management process, take responsibility on follow-ups of reported cases, perform investigations and monitor remediations
Support and incorporate compliance activities in post-merger integrations
Develop and perform regular training and workshop measures (including e-learning) for local legal entities and relevant units
Consult and guide local Compliance Coordinators in different countries worldwide
Review of compliance inquiries and provide advice in ad-hoc requests

Process Excellence:

Advise, guide, and support the business operations and units to implement appropriate internal controls (ICS), SOPs and processes, which fulfill local legal regulations as well as internal Corporate standards
Identify potential compliance and ICS risks within the board area and propose appropriate actions to the Management Team
Initiate and run learning and knowledge sharing activities in the areas of process excellence, ICS, and Compliance
Perform process and controls benchmarking with the objective of setting appropriate standards and achieving necessary improvements in the countries
Support of legal entities in internal audits, e. g. preparation, report review and follow-ups
Monitor implementation of agreed action lists resulting from internal audits

Your profile

Successfully completed university degree in Law or Economics, MBA or CPA qualification is preferred
Minimum of 2-4 years of experience with intensive work in Compliance / Legal, Internal Auditing, Risk Management / Internal Controls and/or Finance & Accounting in an operational company environment
High level of integrity and persistence to enforce compliance culture
Ability to work independently with a collaborative and service-oriented approach towards the business
Strong sense for pragmatic problem solving and consultative advice to operation departments
Good at building strategic relationships with all stakeholders within the entities as well as at Corporate level
Self-motivated and passionate about personal and group accomplishment
Good understanding of internal business processes and related controls
Good analytical and risk evaluation skills, advanced legal understanding
Very good communication skills and intercultural competences
Convincing demeanor and discretion
Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken

Filling the position is also possible on a part-time basis. We will be happy to check your individual part-time request. For the time being, this is a temporary position due to a parental leave replacement.
