Product and Material
Compliance Engineer (gn*)
Your tasks
- Responsible party for GESTRA for all subjects in relation to product and material compliance including support to customer inquiries (UL, CE, UKCA, REACH, RoHS, etc.)
- Advisor to product managers, Research & Development and the GESTRA OpCO's concerning product conformity for various markets and applications
- Implementation of the relevant certification projects and issuing the certificates of conformity
- Responsible for the GESTRA Standards database (e.g. buy, manage and update standards, standards reports) and for document management in SAP (e.g. store compliance documents, assist to quality notification and SVHC database)
Your qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, etc.) with a minimum of 4 years experience in product and/or material compliance
- Particular passion for legal texts and regulations
- Ability to effectively communicate with regulatory authorities, associations, or standards bodies
- Curiosity to develop knowledge of additional product categories as needed
- Structured, reliable and solution-oriented way of working with excellent communication skills
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Willingness to occasional travel ( < 5%), both domestic and international
