Our client is a leading international strategic consultancy with offices throughout Europe and internationally. They provide advice to companies in order to help them navigate a range of public policy, political and regulatory challenges. The public sector advisory practice in Europe is set to expand significantly and our client is therefore looking to hire a number of new individuals at differing tiers within the practice. Typical clients will be financial institutions and other private sector organisations looking to expand and develop their engagement with key European governments and EU institutions. Opportunities on a project basis will take up to 5 – 10 hours per week for individuals with good knowledge of political processes, priorities and personalities. Successful candidates will provide our client with up to date policy and legislative advice based on a strong personal network to help them, and in turn their clients, navigate a complex political environment.
Our client places a premium on experience from within relevant institutions. In particular, candidates should have recent experience from working within relevant government departments, in particular those dealing with EU affairs, finance, energy and wider foreign policy challenges. We are seeking individuals with 5+ years of experience, and roles will be offered at a relevant level of seniority as warranted. Successful candidates should also bring an active network within government in order to help inform their and our clients thinking on current public policy issues. Networks within EU institutions, French and German governments are particularly in demand.
Applications should consist of a full CV with full details on qualifications and preferred working location. At this stage we do not require a full application letter, however an indication of the reasons for being attracted to a management consulting role would be of interest.
To apply please send your CV and all correspondence to euadvisory@perrettlaver.com . Please do not contact any of our European offices at this stage for an update, as you will not get a response.
