We are looking for an experienced (Senior) Expert Compensation, Benefits & Reporting to join our tonietastic People & Culture team either full- or part-time (min. 30 hours/week). In this newly created role, you will have the chance to support our growth by further developing sustainable global C&B structures and processes, supporting their execution according to local legislations and equal pay practices as well as ensuring accurate reporting and analysis of C&B related KPIs.
You can choose to work from Duesseldorf or any other city in Germany that suits your preferences. While we embrace the freedom of remote work, we also highly value the importance of building strong personal connections. Therefore, we encourage and appreciate your presence in our inviting office on occasion (e.g. for our regular P&C meetings, Social Afternoons etc).
Your tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Develop a global compensation and benefits strategy for the business in collaboration with the CHRO and local stakeholders
- Steer compensation and benefits projects, e.g. the development and introduction of job leveling and pay band structure
- Keep an eye on market trends, conduct benchmarks and derive measures for the future development of our pay strategy
- Closely collaborate with our People Business Partners team in Germany to provide guidance on compensation decisions for new hires, promotions, and salary adjustments and create alignment across all levels of the organization
- Act as C&B advisor for our Country GMs and People & Culture Manager in our international markets (US, UK, FR)
- Administer STI & LTI Schemes
- Collect, consolidate and report regular HR KPIs (e.g. for the ESG reporting) as well as prepare in-depth C&B statistics for the CHRO and the Leadership team
- Support the annual personal budget planning process with guidance and expertise
- Take over/ support in additional People & Culture projects and tasks
What we are looking for:
An enriching addition to our dedicated, seasoned and humor-infused tonies People & Culture team with…
- 7+ years of expertise in the area of total rewards, ideally in a medium-sized, fast-growing international environment
- In-depth experience in the development, establishment and maintenance of compensation and benefits structures & guidelines, pay bands, STI & LTI schemes on a global and local (fit to market) level
- Experience in working with benchmarking tools
- Excellent data analysis skills, including proficiency in Excel
- A healthy pragmatism, a hands-on approach, the drive to bring in new ideas and, last but definitely not least, a good sense of humor
- Good understanding of HR operational processes
- At least intermediate knowledge of the German language is a plus, ability to speak English proficiently
