Global communications specialist (m/f/d)
In this role you will be based near our Bomlitz site in Germany, working in a hybrid model (on site a few days a week). In this important business unit, you will be a vital member of the Communications team, in a newly created role, that supports our marketing function, product managers, sales team, and division by strategically developing externally-facing material and campaigns to help promote our solutions. With great attention to detail, you will be responsible for both internal and external communications to highlight our story and achieve brand awareness. A broad skillset is needed to lead marketing communications efforts as well as business communications. In addition, colleagues will call upon your working public relations knowledge to pitch story ideas and launch programs. Your teammates will also rely upon your accurate, professional writing capability to generate content.
your responsibilities
In this generalist role, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and understand the communications landscape to develop compelling messages and deliverables
- Assist with trade show preparation for Europe events (meet with stakeholders for needs analysis, create messaging, work with vendors for booth design etc.)
- Develop marketing collateral content (including product one sheeters, articles, white papers, video storyboards, website content, advertisements etc.) and liaise with scientists to elevate thought leadership
- Write copy for webinar landing pages
- Write creative briefs
- Create content for social media, press releases and our intranet
- Update/create PowerPoint decks
- Manage timelines/deadlines
- Coordinate newsletters
- Launch internal employee engagement campaigns and support external initiatives

you have
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree is required. Preferred majors include journalism, communications, public relations, and English
- Fluent English language skills required, fluent German preferred
- Several years of work experience (ideally min. 7 years)
- Software savvy (learn newsletter program, website and intranet platforms for minor updates)
- Microsoft Word, PowerPoint skills
- Organizational skills & Strategic thinking
- Vendor management
- Exceptional writing ability and strong communication skills
- This hybrid role is based in our Bomlitz, Germany office
- Some travel required; estimate 10–15%
