Senior Manager Compliance (m/f/d)
We are looking for a motivated colleague to support our compliance programs across European Otsuka Group entities. In collaboration with the Director Compliance, you will be in charge of continuously developing a comprehensive business ethics and corporate compliance program. In addition, you will be responsible to coordinate the build of an adequate infrastructure that supports driving a compliance culture in our European entities, and for the roll out and implementation of tools and processes needed to enable such program and culture.
Job responsibilities:
- In collaboration with the Director Compliance and the regional Otsuka group entities, support developing and implementing, an effective Compliance program for the European Otsuka entities;
- Implement, together with the Director Compliance and the European entities, an effective Compliance Communication program, including design & implementation of effective compliance tools, processes and policies and promoting their understanding thereof as well as of new and existing compliance issues;
- Develop and roll out Speak Up and reporting channels for the European entities as well as investigation capabilities;
- Support to foster a Data Privacy organization for the European entities;
- Develop and implement Third Party Risk Management procedures supporting European entities in their third party due diligence;
- Facilitate structure, design, delivery and reporting of Compliance trainings;
- Collaborate closely with European entities and the major operating companies, their compliance managers as well as the Otsuka Control functions (e.g. Internal Control) and other functions (e.g. HR);
- Monitor Regulatory activities to remain abreast of the status of all compliance activities and to identify trends; identify and share good practices, perform benchmarks and develop awareness for compliance and ethical matters within the company;
- Support to coordinate the identification and tracking of compliance risks and develop and implement corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues;
- Provide reports on a regular basis, and as directed or requested, to keep Otsuka stakeholders informed of the operation and progress of compliance efforts
Your profile:
- Hold a Master’s degree in Law (or similar qualification), Finance or Business Administration;
- Minimum of 4 years proven compliance, audit, regulatory, and/or legal management experience, including experience in building compliance infrastructure with an international (regional/global) scope;
- Work experience in Pharmaceutical and/or Medical Devices sector/Healthcare Compliance required
- Proven record of strong project management skills
- Strong data protection and privacy experience
- Proven record in performing compliance risk assessments, drafting compliance policies and communications
- Demonstrate familiarity with operational, financial, quality assurance, and human resource procedures and regulations;
- Have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence individuals at all levels of the organization and operating in different cultures, geographies and functions;
- Ability to innovate and implement fit for purpose compliance and risk management programs and systems;
- Ability to accomplish high-level objectives in the context of annual compliance plans;
- Excellent communication and influencing skills;
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure;
- Excellent team working skills;
- Be fluent in English – both written and spoken, any additional European languages are a strong plus;
- PC literate (Excel and Powerpoint) and confident with reporting software packages;
