A leading international software company is looking for a high potential HR manager to join the European HQ located in Cologne, Germany. The new HR leader will lead the people function for the growing European organization and will report directly to the General Manager Europe. The company currently employs appr. 60 employees in Germany, Austria, Italy and the UK and is expanding rapidly.
HR Director Europe (m/f/d)
Key accountabilities
- Partner to the GM Europe and broader leadership team for all people matters
- Collaborate with senior leadership to understand the organization’s goals and strategy and translate business needs into strategies and concrete organisational, team and individual development actions
- Set up the people function for this fast scaling organization and oversee the employee lifecycle including recruiting, onboarding, development, performance management, recognition / rewards, and employee engagement and retention
- Build and develop the company’s organizational structures and processes, increase effectiveness and efficiency
- Monitor and ensure the organization's compliance with European employment laws and local regulations
Required experience
- Experienced HR professional in all core people topics
- Highly motivated self-starter with a “can do attitude”, entrepreneurial and strategic mind and at the same time hands-on, can get things done even without a larger team
- Preferably experienced with high growth, scaling environment
- Software industry experience is preferred, but not required
- Fluent in German and English
- Leadership experience preferred, but not required
