Your tasks
-
As Head of Representative Office, you will be responsible for the EU Liason Office and its content -
related and organisational operations.
Tasks:
Channeling information on current regulatory projects at an early stage and participating in
the preparation of appropriate proposals and initiatives within the framework of the usual
interest representation
Development of positions of the bank and communication vis-à-vis relevant stakeholders
Organization and implementation of visits by board members and executives to the relevant
stakeholders
Conception and implementation of events in order to actively represent Commerzbank's
positions in the political environment - with the support of specialists from the specialist
departments
If necessary, development of a resilient network in Brussels as a basis for political
communication on the ground (if not yet available)
Representation of the bank vis-vis the Belgian authorities (within the limits of the competences
granted) and in relevant associations
Ensuring organizational operations, responsibility for the administrative implementation of
(compliance) requirements
Management of the staff of the Liaison Office.
Your profile
-
Degree in law, economics or humanities Specialist knowledge in the field of banking and financial
market regulation
Medium to long-term professional experience, preferably in the field of communication, preferably
in the financial or media industry or in a political organization
Advantageous: Existing network in politics, especially in Brussels International
competence and experience in the international business environment
Language skills (German and English fluent; Knowledge of one of the two Belgian national
languages desirable but not mandatory)
